This Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology will equip students with the necessary skills to work as an Automotive Mechanic. February July Renewable Centre of Excellence: February April July Entry Requirements IELTS 5.5 (Academic) or equivalent. Minimum 18 years of age. Completion of year 12 or equivalent. Assessment Methods: Emphasis is placed on combining off-the-job training with on-the-job applications. Assessment can be carried out in simulated work environment, on-the-job or in the workplace or by negotiated project work. Vocational Placement: This program includes 30 days (240 hours) of unpaid vocational placement. There is no guarantee of employment arising from this unpaid vocational placement. This course is available packaged with AUR50205 Diploma of Automotive Technology Recognition of Prior Learning Careers Australia gives students the recognition they deserve, for skills and knowledge that they already possess.
