The aim of this unique dual degree course is to provide an education in social work that is informed by the range of values specific to religious tradition, and an education in theology that is oriented to the professional values and practice of the social work profession.

The course is designed for people who wish to engage in critical reflection on the church's theological tradition and its relationship to social work theory and practice. It allows for the requirements for admission to the Bachelor of Social Work to be met through the completion of two years study of mainly theological curriculum.
