Career Opportunities

Geographers are ‘big picture’ professionals. They are often employed by government agencies (EPA, DEW, CSIRO) and non- government organizations (Conservation International, WWF, Nature Conservancy) with interests in local and regional planning, disaster planning, population planning, and protected area management. With further study, graduates may pursue careers as researchers, or as teachers in all levels of the education system.
