LA1101:03 Legal Institutions and Processes Plus 12 credit points of level 1 Science subjects from the Master Schedule of Subjects. Students must discuss proposed program with the Executive Dean or appropriate Academic Adviser.
LA1105:03 Contract Law 1 Plus 3 credit points of level 1 Science subjects and 9 credit points of level 2 Science subjects from the Master Schedule of Subjects.
LA2017:03 Principles of Criminal Law A Plus 6 credit points of level 2 Science subjects and 6 credit points of level 3 Science subjects from the Master Schedule of Subjects.
LA3011:03 Commercial and Personal Property Law Plus 6 credit points of level 3 Science subjects from the Master Schedule of Subjects and 3 credit points from the Law Elective Program as shown in the Undergraduate Courses and Majors for the Bachelor of Laws
LA3004:03 Evidence Plus 9 credit points of level 4 Law subjects selected from level 4 law elective subjects as shown in the Undergraduate Courses and Majors for the Bachelor of Laws. 6 credit points of level 3 Science subjects from the Master Schedule of Subjects so as to complete the Science requirements of: 15 credit points of level 1 Science subjects 15 credit points of level 2 Science subjects 18 credit points of level 3 Science subjects

Honours The purpose of the Honours Program in the School of Law is to provide the necessary research opportunities and experience for those students who anticipate going on to apply for enrolment in higher research degrees or who seek to enhance their research competence. Entry to the Honours program is restricted to students with an OGPA of 5 and above and is by invitation only. Honours graduates fall within the top 15-20% of the graduating class. A candidate for the joint degree with Honours in Law must include LA4026:03 Research Dissertation A or LA4047:03 Research Dissertation B Part 1 of 2 and LA4048:03 Research Dissertation B Part 2 of 2 as part of the approved course of study.
