Career Opportunities

Planners work in shire councils, city councils, planning companies (often in teams alongside architects and engineers), regional and state organisations and departments, and in consulting and research. With a nationwide shortage of planners, there are outstanding career opportunities as planners, policy-makers, consultants, researchers, and impact assessors for government agencies at federal, state and local levels, with environmental planning firms, as environmental assessment consultants, and with property development companies and regional development organisations.

Professional Recognition

The course is fully accredited with the Planning Institute of Australia.
