This degree prepares students for work in a wide range of IT intensive industries. It combines a solid basis of computing theory with practical knowledge and skills in software (languages), software engineering, multimedia, databases and networking. Specialising in General Computing.

This major covers: enterprise database systems (Oracle); multimedia web design; objectorientated programming; Internetworking; network administration; software engineering; and more. Open-access computer rooms are available 24/7 and provide computing and internet facilities.
