Bachelor of Hospitality ManagementAssessment (Internat.) A range of assessment tasks will be undertaken during this course including written reports, assignments,group projects,case studies,oral presentations and formal examinations. The Bachelor of Hospitality (Management) is an innovative degree that integrates vocational and academic learning. It has been developed to reflect the changing roles and responsibilities of a senior hospitality manager thus it incorporates hospitality industry skills and management concepts and theories. This course will provide graduates with the necessary skills, knowledge and values to be successful managers in the hospitality industry. The Bachelor of Hospitality (Management) is an articulated degree and is made up of the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management (or equivalent) and a third (capstone) year. There will be a strong emphasis on applied learning through a range of integrated management and hospitality industry projects. A range of assessment tasks will be undertaken during this course including written reports, assignments, group projects, case studies, oral presentations and formal examintations. Management and vocational skills, knowledge and attributes will be further consolidated by completing an internship in an area of vocational interest in the capstone year. This course has been developed to meet the global demand for senior hospitality managers. It will prepare graduates with the necessary skills, knowledge and attributes to undertake a wide variety of professional positions in the hospitality industry. International students wishing to apply for RPL and Credit Transfer are required to provide syllabus of previous study undertaken at time of applying for course. Not all courses offer RPL and Credit Transfer.
