Bachelor of Creative Arts And Industries (New Media Design) (BCAINM)About the Course The Bachelor of Creative Arts & Industries (New Media Design) is part of a suite of professional creative courses for the cultural industries available through Charles Darwin University which enables students to also take suites of study from the creative study options in Music, Fine Arts and Communications. Within each of these discipline pathways, there are alternative study plans that allow a student to explore a particular strength. Course Structure The course consists of common units and core units, which are common across the suite of creative arts and industries studies in the School. Students then select a study pathway from the specialisation options in Classical Music or Contemporary Music or a combined Classical/Contemporary Music stream, as well as electives from within any area of study within the University. The flexible structure allows students to choose suites of study that accommodate pathways into a variety of possible career choices. A candidate must successfully complete units totalling 240 credit points. Career Opportunities Graduates can work in areas such as computer arts, communication, interactive design, gaming, graphic design, digital media, film, television, music, sound and web.
