About the Course
This course offers students the opportunity to tap their creative potential by building pathways that develop strengths in professional and creative writing, blogs and writing for the web, broadcast and multimedia production. Students are encouraged to broaden their studies through elective choices from the creative courses being offered at Charles Darwin University in New Media Design, Fine Arts and Music.


There are two principal pathways of study, one in Public Relations and Marketing and another in Communication Design.


Course Structure
The course consists of common units and core units, which are common across the suite of creative arts and industries studies in the School. Students then select a study pathway from the specialisation options, and electives from within any area of study within the University.


The flexible structure allows students to choose suites of study that accommodate pathways into a variety of possible career choices.


A candidate must successfully complete units totalling 240 credit points.


Career Opportunities

Graduates find employment in print and electronic media, public relations, marketing, government and community relations as well as a host of other niche areas in commercial enterprises that place a premium on managing relationships.
