Program overview
The Bachelor of Business develops skills applicable to many areas of employment and provides you with a general education on which to build a lifetime career. Our business degree has seven specialist areas from which you can choose:

  • Tourism
You can also complement your business studies by studying up to four courses in other faculties, for example, you can study languages, business communication, computer-based design, or ecosystem management.

 

Professional membership
Students and graduates may become members/associate members of various Australian professional bodies depending on their study specialisations.

 

Career opportunities
Knowledge and skills acquired through the Bachelor of Business are transferable across many sectors such as government, education, the arts, commerce, and industry. Depending on the major and minors chosen, opportunities may include accounting, advertising, auditing, banking and finance, computing, customer service, hotel management, human resource management, importing/exporting, industrial relations, management, marketing, politics, property and asset management, retail and sales, systems analysis, taxation and tourism.
