• Entry Requirements: Satisfactory completion of Year 12 or equivalent. English proficiency demonstrated by an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent is essential.

• Expected Employment Outcome Example: There is a strong growth in sport, fitness, community and outdoor recreation activities, and increased public awareness of health and fitness issues. Courses in this area will train you for employment in sport and recreation venues (e.g. leisure centres), health and fitness centres, and outdoor recreation businesses as development officers; sport and recreation program leaders; coaches; personal trainers; fitness instructors; sport and recreation supervisors and managers; adventure tour guides and outdoor recreation assistants and leaders.
• Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

  Financial and strategic management for recreation; global tourism and management of sustainable tourism development; international marketing for recreation; IT management for recreation; managing human resources from a global perspective; perspectives on recreation and research project for recreation and electives including event management; facility management and research methodologies.
