Bachelor of Business (Marketing & International Business)

  • Entry Requirements: Entry into the Bachelors of Business (International Business and Marketing)is contingent upon the successful completion of the TAFE SA Advanced Diploma of Business (Marketing), CRICOS course number 047917E. It is expected that students that have completed the Advanced Diploma of Business (Marketing) will have an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent upon commencing of the Bachelors of Business (International Business and Marketing)

  • Assessment Method: Higher Education
    Bachelor and other degrees are assessed through exams.
  • Qualifications are useful for those seeking work as sales representatives; general support workers in marketing, sales and advertising offices; and small business owners and managers. Broad based training includes marketing and customer relations; supervisory and frontline management skills; customer service planning and development; developing and operating a business plan; financial and business planning; selling; advertising, marketing communication plan; and creative concepts.
  • Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.
  • Skills covered: Identify and analyse an organisation's marketing environment Set goals for market share and growth Develop and implement strategies by selecting target markets and promote products and services to those markets Undertake the development of new products Work out an approach to pricing of products and services Manage distribution channels Develop plans in relations to advertising, sales promotion, public relations, personal selling and sales management Monitor sales performance.
