• Entry Requirements: Satisfactory completion of Year 12 or overseas equivalent. English proficiency demonstrated by an IELTS score of 5.5 is essential. Successful completion of the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management meets the academic requirements for entry into the Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management). Students also require 600 hours of industry placement or industry experience. Students require an IELTS score of 5.5.

• Expected Employment Outcome Example: People working in this area enjoy an enormous variety of employment opportunities. Courses in general operations enable students to learn specialist skills and knowledge in silver service, advanced food and wine knowledge, and sales and marketing and set the foundation for working in a hotel, restaurant, cafe, banqueting or catering environment. More advanced studies enable students to develop the competencies required for employment in front of house services, food and beverage areas and housekeeping, with advanced career opportunities in the management of function areas.
