Description:
 In a competitive business world it pays to have more than one skill set and a joint degree can provide you with extra knowledge and resources to help you get the job you want. Joint degrees allow students to complete two degrees at the same time over a four to five year timeframe. These degrees allow students to specialise in a range of disciplines and study areas related to business.

In the Business component students are able to complete one of he following Bachelor of Business majors: Economics, Regional Development (TSV), Hospitality Management (CNS), Human Resource Management, International Business (CNS), Management and Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Sports and Events Management (TSV), and Tourism Management. It is recommended that if students are contemplating a business major they should enrol in the major before undertaking level 2 studies.

Honours

An Honours program is available for those students who demonstrate high academic performance. Honours consists of an extra year of study and the development of a personal research project and thesis. An Honours degree is usually essential for entry to research higher degrees. JCU's School of Business also offers a wide range of postgraduate study opportunities and has an active research program.
