The agribusiness sector is Australia’s largest and most vibrant industry sector, providing a broad range of exciting career opportunities. This new specialisation in CSU’s Bachelor of Business provides a critical stepping-stone to a varied career by providing you with a strong foundation in agribusiness.

 

Where it will take you
Careers in agribusiness are not necessarily involved in production agriculture.

 

Employment opportunities range from the rural service industries of regional Australia to international trade and finance activities undertaken by multinational corporations. Your options will be many as you acquire expertise in marketing, accounting, finance, people management, international business and sustainable resource management.

Your course is recognised by industry
Students who undertake a joint study in accounting may be considered as satisfying membership requirements of CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia.

 

Graduation requirements
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 192 points (24 subjects). These subjects are a combination of core subjects, specialisation subjects and electives. Students will graduate from the Bachelor of Business (Agricultural Commerce) with the award BBus(AgricCom).

 

All distance education students are required to have access to a personal computer (IBM PC or compatible) and spreadsheet software capable of reading Excel and/or Lotus 1-2-3 files. It is recommended that distance education students have access to appropriate hardware and software to enable them to communicate electronically with the University. The current specifications are available upon request.
