About the course

The Honours programs offered by the School of Biomedical Sciences include a substantial research project. The research strengths of the school are closely aligned with the disciplines included in the bachelor degree courses. The key objectives of the program are:

  • to provide knowledge and skills relevant to conducting research, especially for entry to higher degree courses
  • to develop an advanced level of knowledge in an area of specialisation
    and
  • to further develop verbal and written skills relevant to advanced studies

Graduation requirements

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 64 points, comprising one 16 point subject and a 48 point Research Program component.
