Bachelor of Arts (Politics and International Relations)Overview Description: The program explores international affairs from political, historical, economic and legal perspectives, and examines complex interactions between the domestic and international affairs of nations. Political scientists are at the forefront of analysing and providing strategic advice on domestic and international affairs and policy. An understanding of political systems and government policies is essential to anyone interested in a career in government or international diplomacy and can be useful for a range of careers in the community and private sector.

Career Opportunities Graduates can pursue careers in local, state and government agencies, foreign affairs, teaching, aid and development agencies and community organizations.
