Bachelor of Arts (French)Overview Description: The Bachelor of Arts is a flexible degree that enables you to tailor a study program to suit your interests and equip you for a broad variety of career options. The BA is recognised by employers as providing a broad education that produces graduates with the communication, research, analytical and problem-solving skills that are essential in today's workforce.

The 'Foundation Stream' is suitable to students without any previous knowledge of languages while the 'Post Year 12 Stream' is for those who have already completed study of a language at senior level and can undertake more advanced subjects. Students can also choose to select subjects from a wide range of other disciplines such as English, social sciences, history and journalism. Honours An Honours program is available for those students who demonstrate high academic performance. Honours consists of an extra year of study and the development of a personal research project and thesis. An Honours degree is usually essential for entry to research higher degrees. Practical Experience Modern language students receive a large amount of practical reading, writing and listening experience with the aid of highly qualified foreign language experts.
