Arts - Interior Design and DecorationDuration » 2 years. February Intake Major areas of study include construction, computer aided design (CAD), preparation of 2D and 3D presentation drawings, colour studies, design history and small business management. Through the four-part module Design Studio students are provided with opportunities to interpret design briefs and to develop solutions for design projects to an industry accepted standard. The Certificate IV in Arts (Interior Decoration) is the first year of the Diploma of Arts (Interior Design and Decoration). Certificate IV in Arts (Interior Decoration) and Diploma of Arts (Interior Design and Decoration) graduates can aspire to careers working in a range of industries including architectural practices, interior design and decoration consultancies, building companies, soft and hard furnishing retailers, colour consulting groups or as a self-employed consultant.
