Animation
Program Details These course will provide you with an intense and practical grounding in animation. You will learn to develop and manipulate graphic images, animations, sound, text and video. You will use industry standard software including: Animation and story board design using ToonBoom; 3D modelling adn animation using 3DS Max.
Qualifications Available in this Program (depending on your entry & exit points)
- Certificate III in Multimedia
- Certificate IV in Screen - Animation
- Diploma of Screen - Animation
- Advanced Diploma of Art & Design - Animation
Program Components & Pathway
This program can include multiple courses and different entry and exit points providing students the flexibility to begin at the most suitable stage and continue studying till they reach their desired outcome. Please see the study pathway diagram below.
General Entry Requirements and Pre-requisites
Entry into the Certificate IV requires the equivalent of Australian Year 11 with passes in English or completion of the Cert III in Multimedia.
Career Outcomes
Depending on the stage of completion, graduates can gain employment as an assistant 3D designer/concept artist, assistant digital matte painter, 3D animator, 3D modeller or 3D games artist.
