AdvertisingThis course orovides students with the skills and knowledge to work effectively in the advertising industry. Students learn about marketing, drafting and costing advertisements, working with advertising agencies and using technology to develop advertisements.

General Entry Requirements and Pre-requisites Entry into the Certificate IV requires the equivalent of Australian Year 10 with passes in English or completion of any Certificate III in Business. What You'll Learn in Each Course The Certificate IV provides students with skills and knowledge to work effectively within the advertising industry. To compliment their advertising knowledge students learn additional skills in the area of marketing, how to draft advertisements, how to work effectively with advertising agencies and use technology to develop advertisements. The Diploma further develops skills in advertising as well as management skills across a number of areas. Students learn how to write draft advertisements, cost advertisements, develop and maintain relationships within the advertising industry as well as learn about general marketing concepts. Career Outcomes Depending on the stage of completion, graduates can enter into various roles in the advertising industry and with suitable experience and further qualifications head up an advertising agency. Further Study & University Options Successful completion of this course may allow students to continue further studies at university in related subjects.
