- Duration: 1 year
- Note: one year of study is equivalent to not less than 36 weeks of instruction.
- Course Type: Accredited Course
- Entry Requirements: Recognised tertiary award or degree in any discipline or National Australian Association of Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) at para-professsional translation level or approved studies in relevant area of proof of considerable work experience in translation. In addition, demonstrated native-like proficiency in one langauage (English or Language other than English) and vocational proficiency in the other language. IELTS score of 6.5 (with a minimum score of 6.5 in the writing and reading bands). Entry test to assess level of both languages. Entrance may also be gained after completing the Diploma of Interpreting and Translating with a minimum score of 70% in translation, plus successful completion of a competency assessment.
