Academic English

Academic English is for people whose aim is to to study at TAFE or university in Australia.

This program is for students who have finished at least the High Intermediate level (approx IELTS 4.5). This course provides shows a contact between the language skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. It makes possible for students to improve their expertise in English by achieving skills for further education courses in Australia. It gives students the chance of being involved in ‘real life’ study skills such as planning and drafting essays, participating in tutorial discussions, giving oral presentations, listening to lectures, and reading a range of academic texts – preparation for further education courses in English.
